MeetLingo respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, processed, or shared when you use the app.

1. Information We Access

MeetLingo may access the following information to provide core app features:

• Microphone audio, for recording meetings and generating transcripts
• Speech recognition results, for live transcription
• Meeting content you create, including recordings, transcripts, translations, and summaries
• App settings you choose, such as default languages and display preferences

2. How Information Is Used

MeetLingo uses information only to provide app functionality, including:

• Recording meetings
• Converting speech to text
• Translating spoken content
• Generating summaries
• Exporting and sharing recordings, transcripts, and summaries

3. AI Summary Providers

If you choose to use the AI summary feature, MeetLingo may send transcript content to the third-party AI provider you select, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini, using the API key you provide.

These third-party services process data under their own terms and privacy policies. MeetLingo does not control how those providers store or use your submitted content.

4. Advertising

MeetLingo may display rewarded advertisements before export or share actions. These ads are provided by Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may collect certain device or advertising-related data in accordance with Google’s policies. For more information, see Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Storage

Meeting data may be stored locally on your device so you can review, manage, and export your content.

MeetLingo does not require account registration to use its core features.

6. Data Sharing

MeetLingo does not sell your personal information.

Data may be shared only when necessary to provide requested functionality, such as:

• Sending transcript content to a third-party AI provider when you use summary generation
• Showing rewarded ads through Google AdMob
• Sharing exported files when you choose to use the iOS share sheet

7. Your Choices

You can choose whether to:

• Grant microphone access
• Grant speech recognition access
• Use AI summary features
• Export or share your files

You may also delete meetings and recordings from the app at any time.

8. Children’s Privacy

MeetLingo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
